It is a great book I think everyone should buy. Robot builder's sourcebook has thousands places were you can buy robot parts like wheels, cameras, single board computers, and so on. On the side of the page it even has tips and tricks on the topic your are on.

It is a great book if you like to build exotic robots. some robots in this book are speech-controlled mobile robot, solar-ball robot, underwater bots, walker robots, blimp bots, and much more.

This is a great book that is for Building and programming with PIC Micros. it starts you off with teaching you to program in C. It has tons of projects for PICS. It comes with a free CD-ROM with PIC Micro tools, Datasheets, links, Source code, and more.
